Zayed| Yoga Studio
Design Overview
I designed this yoga and wellness studio as a calm retreat, where light, nature, colors and materials come together to quiet the mind. A wall of floor-to-ceiling frames open views and fills the room with soft natural light.
The practice space stays open and uncluttered, with plenty of room to move and breathe. A palette of white brick, pale flooring and warm oak beams creates a serene, timeless backdrop, while a living green wall adds freshness, texture and a direct link to nature.
The luxury here is in the restraint and the quality of materials. A suspended aerial-yoga hammock in deep blue is a bold focal point against the neutral setting. Tactile floor cushions, a custom-built timber bench and wall-mounted storage for towels and accessories keep everything within reach and out of the way. Every detail aims to put the visitor at ease, so they can arrive, unwind and feel at home in the space.
